I needed to create a logo for my fake publishing company that created my fake books for my specials problems assignment. I created and designed 5 dust jacket sleeves and created this logo to be for my publishing company. I started with sketches and slowly made my way to my final logo design.
I decided to go with the last sketch design because I with this logo, it looks like a sun rising and is also a flower, making it a sunflower.
It's hard to tell the difference between the top and the bottom images, but the bottom has a more refined look to the sunflower, very symmetrical, and the kerning between the words is closer together.
